I have an idea for a good entry. You should do a item on that young man in Florida who committed suicide on a webcam.

I found it interesting how some people were indifferent, some egged the boy on and some had entirely appropriate reactions but didn't help and some sought help or offered it, just like a real life crowd to tragedy often does.

I am a remember of a forum where something like that once happened. A member who several other posters had met and knew in real life and many others knew online for quite some time talked about wanting to commit suicide in a very disturbing post. The forum members responded beautifully- everyone tried to talk him out of it, a few posted numbers for suicide hotlines, a few people called 911 and several who actually knew him went over to his house.

It was very touching.
