		<description>Government programs quite often become disasters due to anti-government types starving them, either over time or in unpredictable boom-and-bust cycles.

The  NLRB wouldn&#039;t be a disaster if labor policies didn&#039;t disappear under Republican administrations. The EPA could do its job if the right-wing elected/appointed crowd hadn&#039;t slammed on the brakes for the last 7 years.

And, most topically, Adelstein and Copps could do good work enforcing Net Neutrality--if only we the people would let President Obama/Clinton give them a third colleague who sees the difference between the public interest and corporate bottom lines.</description>
